About us

We Didn't Start a Fashion Brand. We Started a Movement.

It started with grey hairs and a lockdown.

During COVID, Kellie (Bae Bands founder) grabbed some wire and started making headwraps to cover her roots when hairdressers closed. Simple problem, simple solution. But that little act of "fuck it, I'll do it myself" turned into something much bigger.

Then came the TikTok video. You might have seen it walking through the house, pointing at the dishes, the laundry pile, the general chaos of motherhood and saying exactly what every Australian mum was thinking but too polite to say out loud. It went viral. Because every single one of you felt it.

That video didn't just rack up views. It proved something: there are thousands of Australian women out there who are done pretending. Done with the mess, done with doing it all alone, and absolutely done with fashion that tries to make them small, safe and floral.

So, we made the Fuck This Shit collection. Three designs. Oversized hoodies, tees and tanks. For every woman who has stood in her kitchen at 9pm, staring at a sink full of dishes that somehow only she can see, and thought yeah. Fuck this shit.

And then we kept going. Because we looked around at what was available in Australian plus size fashion and found the same thing over and over florals, fruit prints, and clothes designed for garden parties we were never invited to.

We wanted skulls. We wanted swear words. We wanted bold, oversized, comfy pieces that matched our actual personality — not the version of ourselves we perform for other people.

So we built it. Right here in Cranbourne South, Victoria. Every design created, printed and pressed in our own studio. 100% Australian owned, 100% made for women like us.

Bae Bands isn't just a clothing brand. It's for the mums running on cold coffee and chaos. The women who swear a little and apologise never. The ones who are done with beige, done with boring, and done with fashion that doesn't see them.

We see you. We made this for you.Welcome to Bae Bands. You're going to fit right in. 🖤
